We are six friends from Sweden who discovered our passion for hostel life while backpacking through Asia and Australia a few years ago. The connections we formed and the stories we encountered inspired us to create our own hostel, founded on the belief that everything is “De Bra”.
“De Bra” roughly translates to “Its Good” in English!
We believe that everything, no matter how it unfolds, has its own way of being good. Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where travelers can relax, connect, share experiences, have fun, and grow along the way.

"Really lovely owners, so friendly and helpful. Showed me the basics of how to ride a scooter and then could rent from the hostel, which just made my time on Koh Lanta so amazing! It’s pretty quiet, not near the main strip but that doesn’t matter in the slightest if you’ve got a scooter! I’d definitely stay here again if I was back in Koh Lanta!"

"such a cute hostel with a really nice relaxed vibe and lots of space, a little far from the town and beaches but easy enough to get to on bikes which you can rent there. Martina was so lovely and helpful and taught me how to ride the bike for the first time, she also rescued me when I got a flat tyre!! would love to stay again next time I’m in Ko Lanta"

"Absolutely one of the best hostels i’ve stayed at. Such good vibes throughout and very warm and welcoming staff. Had so much fun, very chilled and slow paced atmosphere. Martina is a key part of this hostel, really made my experience. Max and Axel really looked after us all throughout. 10/10 for sure"
